Alice was born in London. She earned a BA History at Cambridge University in 2000. Alice began her career writing and developing feature-length screenplays, most notably for film director, Anthony Minghella. She took a break from writing to study for an MSc in Middle East Politics at SOAS, University of London, in 2005, where she specialised in cultural politics using the Palestinian Territories and Israel as a case-study. Alice founded youth education charity, World Film Collective in 2008, using mobile phone technology to give marginalised young people a voice through filmmaking. Operational bases were established in Rio de Janeiro, Cape Town, The West Bank and London. Programmes were also run with Syrian refugees in the Jungle camp in Calais. Alice returned to writing in 2015, this time focusing on prose for her blog, AliceBragg.com. Over the summer of 2016, she volunteered for Momentum, the campaign group around Jeremy Corbyn, creating a grassroots TV channel for them called Momentum TV.
